Q. I'm currently writing (for funs) a sequence of short stories that are interrelated but not that heavily. As I've written drafts/ideas for some of the stories I realized I could keep going on about them. There is one problem if I split off some of the short stories from the series I might lose some of my more 'interesting/motivated stories. What do you think I should do? Asked by stupidroro - Tue Apr 13 10:55:51 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Well, if you're just writing for fun then do whatever feels right for the stories. It might be good to connect some of them so there aren't as many, especially if you feel like it would keep from loosing the interesting stuff. But if it doesn't work that well, keep them separate. Sometimes though, it's good to 'kill your darlings' if it moves the story ahead. Maybe you could use those interesting moments in other short stories in the future. Good luck!
